How to Restart AirPods 3
Place your AirPods 3 inside their Charging Case and close the lid for 10 seconds at least. Your AirPods have now restarted. It’s that simple.

If you are still facing issues, or just want to sell your AirPods, and need them to be on factory settings, then here’s what you are going to do.
How to Factory Reset AirPods 3
Step 1. Place your AirPods 3 inside their Charging Case.
Step 2. Close the lid of the Charging Case.
Step 3. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods 3 Charging Case for 15 seconds until the light at the front starts to flash amber then white. Let go of the setup button when the light flashes white.

Your AirPods 3 are now in their factory state, all ready to be paired up again. If you’re planning to sell them off, just throw everything in the original box (or not) and you’re good to go.
